I can't stop thinking of all the wonderful trips we had with Grandpa, Eric and Al among others, what a group...Alva was part of our family and I am honored to have walked next to him.
A truly remarkable man, he will be greatly missed by many.

Alva was a dear friend that I've had the privilege of knowing since 1994. Just last night I found out he had passed. I'm still in shock and so sad. He was such a wonderful man; always with a smile on his face. I will never forget him. My best goes to his family and friends.

I am sorry to hear about Al as I know you were very close friends. It never gets any easier, thats for sure. Please wish his family my condolences.
