Father's Day

Recently, I saw a picture. A Marine, in full dress uniform, was handing a folded flag to a young boy. The boy, who was 7 or 8 years old, had a suit and tie on and held out his hands to receive the flag. You could tell he was fighting back tears, but he was trying his best to be a man. I can still see his face..... I know where he was today....
If your father is still alive, I hope you made contact. For some of us, there are only memories....

And for some of us we have the reality of having no one to call us on Father's Day, ever. You are very lucky to have the experience of being a father regardless of how painful that can be sometimes. Check out www.davidjanderson.blogspot.com to see what I did on Father's Day.
