Dug thru a foot of hard snow, drilled thru 3 feet of ice, stood on the ice for 3 hours and caught 1 crummy northern. However, went to a wine and beer tasting party Saturday night. My wine selection took first place and my beer took second. And me, a Jack Daniels drinker. Go figure.....
So Sunday, Don and I took some more problem trees down in Conleyville. More campfire wood I guess.......

Spring is right around the corner, Dew... Crappies, high balls, walleyes, high balls, etc. People are starting to talk about the opener already... it's a good time of year.
I wanna see pictures of ice-out...
High balls and fish!! What a combination... BUT, it's "the people" that count.
I will publish a picture of ice turning to water, if I remember... Geez, we need to get a life!!!
High balls, well that is right up our alley (The Lupien's of course). I guess it is almost about time to dig out Jim's ok 64oz mug for this years season. I hope this new found wine thing you have discovered Dew does not mean that in lieu of Jack you would want us to bring you up a BOX of our finest White Zinfandel, aged a couple of hours of course. Did you know they even come with there own tapper....
I guess Glenda gets the Jack Daniels this year and Dew gets the wine coolers. Have you seen any turkeys?
Only the ones we hang out with!
OK dudes! Here how it is. I don't do wine out of a box. I'll go back to Ripple first! Secondly, even if Jack Daniels is bestowed upon Glenda, I'm gonna drink it!! Wine coolers??? Good grief!!
Turkeys have been gobbling and Kurt, John and I are gonna ruin their morning ritual next month.....
Hey Dew,
Checked out the blog. What is the world coming to? Noweigians typing on a computer!
Fishing, drinking, dogs, cuting down trees, snow, the cold, that all makes sense, but a blog?
There has got to be a Norwegian joke in here somewhere.
Miss ya Duane,
Blase
